Golden Engineering, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells battery powered portable X-ray machines and accessories. The company was founded in Ann Arbor, Michigan by John Golden in 1973. Golden Engineering relocated to their current location in Centerville, Indiana in 1981. Golden Engineering's first product was THE INSPECTOR X-ray source Model 200. THE INSPECTOR weighed 22 pounds and penetrated up to ½ inch of steel. THE INSPECTOR was discontinued in 1997. Golden Engineering's current products include the XR150, XR200, XRS-3, and XRS-4.
